Chris Webber On His Way Back to the Golden State Warriors

Looks like veteran Chris Webber has finally made up his mind about making his return to the NBA, but it is not that fact that he is coming back that is surprising, it is where he is going to suit up.

It's seems as though Chris Webber will end up playing for the Golden State Warriors once again, where he began his career and won the Rookie of the Year award way back in 1994 (14 years ago). Webber will be playing for Warriors coach Don Nelson, who had problems with back in '94 when he requested a trade, which he got and was traded to the Washington Wizards (known as the Bullets back then).

Reportedly, Don Nelson and Webber put their differences behind them a few years ago back in 2002 when Nelson was coaching the Dallas Mavericks and was selected to coach the Western Conference All Stars. In that game, Shaq was injured and Nelson started Webber in his place.

If all is well and good with the Warriors, Webber will be paid a pro-rated veteran minimum of 1.2 million, not bad for playing half the season. Webber should be a good addition to a Warriors as they have had a small lineup for the last couple of seasons and have been looking for a solid veteran big man to fill the void.

I don't think it will really help the team out.

Dear ,

I'm an inter with startup widget 1000 and I created a news widget for Los Angeles Lakers News.
It's updated every hours with NBA headlines from several different sports websites like ESPN, FOX Yahoo, etc. (Take a look: http://www.widget1000.com/)

Can we add Los Angeles Lakers Team blog to the widget, too? That means that every time you post to your blog the headline of the post will show up on the widget and link directly to your post.
Anyone who puts this widget on their start page or on their website will see your Los Angeles Lakers posts too. It's a powerful and free way to publicize your site.

Finally, would you add the Los Angeles Lakers News Widget to your site so that others can see it?
Everyone who grabs the widget will automatically link to you so it's great for your search engine rankings. Plus, it shows a lot of stories about NBA and since it's updated every hour it is fresh and will make your site even more appealing than it already is.

What do you think?

Go Los Angeles Lakers
