Derek Fisher Has a Big Night as the Lakers Continue to Dominate!

D-Fish was on fire! Scoring a game high 26 points shooting on an amazing 10 of 11 from the floor leading the Lakers past the Memphis Grizzles!
It seems like every night there is someone else on the Lakers squad that steps up and kicks some ass putting up monster numbers. Tuesday night, it was Derek Fisher as his parents were watching in the crowd in Memphis.
Once again, all of the Lakers starters and Jordan Farmar scored in double figures. These guys continue to impress and look like a solid basketball team. Everyone was being unselfish, everyone was hitting their shots, everyone has accepted their role and are starting to play team basketball every night.
The Memphis Grizzles were no challenge, in fact this game was basically over by halftime. All of the Memphis starters scored in double figures as well, but if you watched the game you would wonder how the hell it happen because the Lakers were playing lock down D and not even giving the Grizzles a chance to get an open look. As a result, the Lakers blew them out 117-101 to improve to 22-11.
It is a bold statement, but if the Lakers continue to win and play unselfish with solid defense, they are legitimate contenders to come out of the Western Conference! Look out San Antonio!
