It has been a long, long time since we have seen the Kobe Bryant to Andrew Bynum connection, not since January 13th to be exact, but it looks like we will have to wait just a little bit longer before we see the young seven footer take the floor.
On Thursday April 10th, the Lakers made an announcement that Bynum went to go see a knee specialist in New York where Dr. David Altcheck checked out the big man and said that he is not quite ready to participate in practice.
Earlier in the week Lakers coach Phil Jackson thought that Andrew Bynum might be ready to play against the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday, but now after Bynum got a once over from Dr. Altcheck, he said that Bynum playing against the Spurs on Sunday would be a long shot, but he may be able to practice on Saturday.
