Kobe Bryant is Staying Put!

As if Lakers fans really worried about this after the dream season they just had, but just in case you may have still been a bit concerned about Kobe Bryant's future with the Lakers, put your worries aside because Kobe Bryant officially wants to be a Laker4Life!

I don't know having teammates like Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum and Lamar Odom, being a God in Los Angeles for life and #1 in the Western Conference, nah, I want out! Are you kidding me? No way Kobe is leaving now!

The only thing Kobe doesn't have that he wanted before this season is another ring. He pretty much has the MVP award wrapped up, unless somehow Chris Paul pulls the rug from underneath Bryant's feet and he is reaping the benefits from quite possibly the best trade in Lakers history with Pau Gasol for Kwame "Buttfingers" Brown. What else could he possibly ask for?

After the Lakers beat down on the Denver Nuggets on Sunday, Kobe was asked some questions about his future with the Lakers and he responded by saying, "I've always wanted to be here".

"I just felt like I was in a position where I didn't really have a choice. They wanted to go in an opposite direction. My legs aren't as young as they used to be. Just let me know.

"I love the weather. I love my '63 drop-top Impala. I love the 405 [freeway]. I love my guys."

I would say that is the answer that the Lakers and Lakers fans have wanted all season long, so finally, it is officially over, Kobe Bryant will be a Laker4Life! (at least for now)
