MVP, MVP, MVP! Kobe Bryant Finally Gets His 1st MVP Award!

We all knew it was coming, well now it is official, Kobe Bryant is this season's NBA MVP!

Talk about a lift off your shoulders, Kobe has been waiting for this a long, long time and he has finally gotten the recognition that he deserves.

I admit that Chris Paul playing the way he has all season long and continued into the playoffs against Dallas Mavericks got me a little worried, but I think the voters realized that it is Kobe's time to shine, especially with the Dirk Nowitzki debacle of last season (what a joke that was).

Hopefully Kobe can take this motivation into the next round against the Utah Jazz because I can guarantee they will not go down as easy as the Denver Nuggets, the Lakers will have their work cut out for them this time.
