Ronny Turiaf Agrees to Deal with Golden State Warriors

It looks like the Lakers energy man Ronny Turiaf has received and accepted a rather generous offer from the Golden State Warriors. Reportedly the Warriors have offered Turiaf $17 million over four years.

Now this is just an offer sheet so the Lakers have 7 days to make a counter offer for their power forward from Gonzaga, but if they still want to be in the James Posey sweepstakes it will be bye-bye for Ronny.

When I heard this was going down I was pretty upset. I love players that show emotion throughout the game and really express how much they love the game and no one in the NBA does that more than Ronny Turiaf.

Ronny Turiaf is by far one of the most energetic forces off the bench in this league and on the Lakers squad.

Does he deserve $17 mill?

Probably not, but in my eyes a guy like Turiaf is worth his weight in gold for his passionate play on the floor and his positive attitude in the locker room not to mention his crazy dances on the bench.

Well, if this is good bye Ronny, and I think it is because the Lakers will be trying to nab Posey or make clear some cap room for other moves, then it has been a fun ride and you will be missed.

You know I will never understand the fascination in watching a bunch of overpaid men running around chasing a ball. I just dont get it.

One thing you can't replace is spirit. While the sensitive egos implode, Ronny shows us what it is like to be truly enthusiastic, spirited and agressive. You can make all the money you want but you can't buy this, can't touch this, can't have this.... happiness and spirit.

im happy to see ronny coming to the warriors. hes a pretty good basketball player. and hes funny. hes always dancing and stuff. i just watched some videos of him on youtube and pretty much every video he danced at least once. the warriors should give him a nickname like "The Dancing Giant" or something idk. im glad to have a guy like him on our team
