The LA Lakers took time out on 3rd April to take part in the 4th Annual Casino Night at Staples center. The Lakers Casino Night is one of the biggest events organised in order to support the Los Angeles Lakers Youth Foundation and the launch of a new OneWest bank credit card.
Lakers fans get to have a bit of fun playing interactive games and games of chance with the likes of Kobe Bryant, Ron Artest, Andrew Bynum, Derek Fisher, Pau Gasol, Lamar Odom and Phil Jackson. Held in the Lexus Club, Pechanga Resorts and Casino the perfect venue for a fun casino evening with celebrities.
Even though the Lakers lost 90-95 against the Denver Nuggets earlier on Sunday, it was not enough to dampen the spirit of the Laker’s players, as they took part in this fun event.
For those that could not afford the $500 tickets to the Annual Casino Night, then there is always online casino blackjack games to play after watching the game on television. I know its not the same as the real live event, but hopefully the casino bonuses will cheer you up.
The money raised playing casino games will go towards the LA Lakers Youth Foundation, who do incredible work within the Los Angeles community. The Laker’s players put back a lot into the community, emphasising teamwork, education and self esteem amongst the youth of Los Angeles.
